01What a sediment filter does
Sediment filtration physically captures particles within the limits of its design. It can be an early treatment stage ahead of other equipment. It does not, by itself, establish microbiological safety or remove every dissolved substance.
02Balance capture and flow
Filter rating, cartridge type, housing size and incoming sediment all influence performance. A filter that is too restrictive can reduce flow, while a poorly matched filter may not capture the target particles. We evaluate the application before selecting equipment.
03Plan for ongoing care
Sediment cartridges need replacement or cleaning according to their design and loading. Recurring heavy sediment in private-well water may also warrant investigating the source. Treatment should fit the situation rather than masking an unresolved supply issue.
